Shefford Lower School PSA

Who We Are

We are a team of volunteer parents and staff who work together to raise funds for Shefford Lower School throughout the school year. Our goal is to support the school community and provide additional resources, activities, and opportunities for the children.

Over the past few years, we have raised between £15,000 and £20,000 annually, thanks to the incredible support of parents, carers, staff, and local businesses.

What We Do

The PSA organises fundraising events, activities, and initiatives across the school year. These funds help provide extra resources and experiences that benefit all pupils.

Our work includes:

Organising school events and fairs
Running raffles and fundraising activities
Supporting school initiatives and projects
Working with local businesses for sponsorship and donations

Join the PSA

We are always looking for new volunteers and helpers.

The PSA committee meets every 6–8 weeks to discuss upcoming events and decide how to allocate the funds raised.

You don't need to attend meetings or help at every event. Many tasks can be done from home, such as:

Preparing materials for events

Wrapping Christmas books for children
Helping with event planning
Supporting fundraising activities

Even a small amount of time can make a big difference.
