More About Our School

Shefford Lower is a community centred school that cares about its families. We know that once a pupil at Shefford Lower, your child will always have been a child of Shefford Lower. We want them to look back on that memory with feelings of success, fondness and security.  We realise that the early education our school will offer, goes beyond the age when they leave us, and shapes their motivations and attitudes for a future that is yet unknown to us or them. 

By partnering with you, the family, we provide a holistic education working together through shared values and ethics for the best achievable outcomes. We work closely with our families and also our governors and partner schools to ensure best evidenced based practice leads our thinking in every classroom, supporting children's well-being and learning.

We highly recommend you visit to our school, to experience first hand what we have to offer. This will enable you to judge the ethos and learning environment and ask any questions you may have.
